It does work, but can be buggy. Be sure to set up the SQL Directory correctly as per the instructions. Just log into Cpanel for your site and add a new database, a new user + password for that database, and install the included SQL code to create it.
Sometimes the script seems have to have problems with strange symbols in file names, but apart from that it works fine.
I made a article directory for my Credit Repair site which you can see at:

Yes, here:
http://www.repairthatcredit.com/articles
But...
It's pretty unpredictable. One or two things I notice: Some articles have titles that use html tags such as bold or H1, and when the software converts the titles into filenames it can mess it up.
Also the page thats supposed to come up to basically show a `completed` message never appears, but when I check the directory the articles are supposed to be in they are there.
The software is pretty rough around the edges, and it was promoted heavily as part of the "private label" source code package a few weeks back, but there isn't much information on the software on the net. I've a feeling most people bought it to resell and never run it, or there would be more cries for help out there!
The software does work but it really needs to be tidied.
Yes, 2 Article Directories. I doubt the code is `sabotaged` but rather - and this is just an guess - the other article directory was removed because of compatibility errors.
And in answer I doubt very much my copy is any different to anyone elses, but I didn't buy it when the originally "Private Label Source Code" offer was released. Rather, I had it later from a reseller. Send my your email and some proof you paid for a copy and I'll gladly send you my copy to compare.
It's a shame this product is proving to be buggy since it's a very good idea and there isn't much like it around. There are content-based auto site builders but they usually create sites around RSS feeds and content you input (or it grabs from pages). I bet it would only take the original programmer a very short time to make these fixes, but who exactly is the original programmer? ...
I also get the same error message setting up the Article Site Builder script. Can anyone tell me where i can get support for errors such as this?
Parse error: parse error, unexpected $ in /public_html/sql.php on line 1
