101 Golden Keys is a great guide to survining life and living and to your potential, from Bryan Winters.
Clickbank Truth is a guide to that payment processor, but takes a novel format including a `talking head` and a control panel, not like any ebook you've seen before!

Advertising Know-How
Advertising Know How is a new subscriber exchange program. Think along the lines of subscriber drive, optin-storm, that kind of site - except this one is (supposed) to be only used on the subscriber "thank you" page and it has many top marketers involved. Looks good, and should increase your sign-up rates - since it's 1:3 ratio (you show 1 and get 3 impressions).
Exchange Owners Guide
The Exchange Owners Guide - nice guide from Clix for anyone who is running a traffic exchange.

Members Site Back
The Members Site is back up! Many of you noticed it being down, and the reason was simple - if slightly embarassing. I, erm... forgot to pay the hosting :-(
Anyway I thought I'd reproduce some of the links here to the resources found at that site since I've removed the password protection and left it wide open for easier access.
1. Ebooks
2. Tools
3. Articles
There are actually pages there for recommended programs, etc, but they are now out-of-date and replaced by the recommended programs page at NetpreneurNow.com - I'll change it soon. Same goes for the Links page.
Web Boot Camp
I just signed up into this and I'm currently checking it out... but it looks very interesting!
Basically it's a complete package to train newbies how to build and promote a website, providing all the tools and manuals they need.
I've seen great newbie packages before that cost a lot more than this, since Web Boot Camp is just $20 and it's a one-off $20 at that!
You also get the ability to resell the Web Boot Camp (still within the $20).
Looks like a cool income stream but MORE IMPORTANTLY providing a service that is lacking in the Marketing world. It's not something I need personally, but we all started somewhere and it took a lot of time to gather the ebooks, tools, and knowledge you need. With the Web Boot Camp I can simply offer this to beginners and that should be enough to get them started. And, at 20 bucks it's affordable AND gives them something to sell right from the start :)
Click Here to visit the Web Boot Camp - Remember, its only $20!
CANSpam
This is important. If you are in the US and can send a letter by the 20th (5 days from this entry) then you can help save e-mail marketing and grab some free software...

Traffic Plus
Here's a new traffic generating system. It's one of those "Join and replace your ID's" systems, like 10 Minutes A Day and the overdone MPAM. Heck, it's free so it's worth a go!

This link is of interest to Internet Marketers, and it's also me testing the Google Toolbar "Instant Blog" feature. Pretty cool, anytime I find a site of interest I click the Google Bar and hey presto! the link is published for your edification.
Finally published Issue 61. It's online at:

This blog is also available as a feed at http://www.netpreneurnow.com/atom.xml - if this means nothing to you don't worry :-)

Been experimenting with Google Adwords (again!). Here's the basic tip I picked up.
Take your best performing keywords and put them into a an ad on their own. Each ad is then targeted to the keyword, and shows up in bold for the exact match. You can tweak costs per click and landing pages better then (you can also do this with "powerposting").
For example, say you're selling jewelry. You might have an ad campaign targeting keywords like "buy rings", "buy necklace", "buy gold jewelry" etc. You find out that "buy rings" is getting lots of impressions, so take it from the "general" ad-group and make a new one just targeting that one keyword.
The ad for that keyword will then be written to display "buy rings" as the title, and the ad will say "Buy quality rings at discount prices, full range online." (or whatever - just a quick made up example!). The main point is a searcher types "buy rings" and one of the ads on the side will say "buy rings" so they connect. Other ads may be more general. You can go deeper, of course, targetting hundreds of keywords... "buy gold rolex" etc. For other campaigns on other products, you can target right down the products model name, or even part numbers etc. For example, (a motorbike) "Kawasaki KLX 650".
See Google Cash for good info.
Here's an interesting overview of AdSense. It is from Site Build It, and is focused on that, but much of the information will apply to any site.

This is a funny piece of Spam I received from a search-engine optimisation company. They boast of the usual guaranteed #1 placement - for example they claim they are rated number 1 on Yahoo for "MONEY BACK SEARCH ENGINE PLACEMENT PROS" and number 1 on Google for "PERSONAL SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION ACCOUNT REP".
Get real! Who is going to search for search engine optimisation using a search phrase like that? I'm only mentioning this as this email to sell seo services is a perfect example of why you shouldn't :-) The search phrases you get the guaranteed placement for are rarely of much use...

Just finished Netpreneur News 61. I'll send this out tomorrow and put it on the main website then.
I've also purchased the websites for "The Best Deal Ever". This way, instead of earning commissions on it I can get 100% profits from it. It's a great deal, Mike Filsaime was selling them for $47 a pop. It's great for him too, since he sells the package for $47 then the site on top. Still, I aint complaining :)
The page is over at:
http://www.netpreneurnow.com/bestdealever
If you haven't purchased a copy perhaps you'd like one?
Not much else to report. I sent out another email for Marketing Dashboard, since it has converted well in the past (it's a great product). I also sent this to the `Kiosk Leads` leads (only 500 of them) so I can see how responsive these are too. Click Here to see.
Google has undergone some changes (again!). Their new big thing is Gmail, a Hotmail annhilator. They promise unlimited account capacity, advanced spam blocking, and more - and it's free. The revenue will come from Ads, since Adwords will now appear at the email login, targeted to the email content. So AdWords users will also benefit :-)
Outside of Marketing:
Just watched Matrix Revolutions - cool movie. 8/10 for the action and effects, 5/10 for the plot. Eye candy.
Reading - Stephen King's "Bag of Bones". I'm a big King fan. Can't wait for "Dark Tower VI". I've also got "From a Buick 8" to read then I've nothing else of King's left :-( I'm going to tackle the Illuminatus! Trilogy then...
See ya next time!
